It’s very common for children to have inflammation of the nasal passages, or allergic rhinitis. It often occurs with sinus and ear infections as well as asthma.

PEDIATRIC NASAL ALLERGY

Allergic rhinitis is an extremely common childhood problem. Nasal allergy also seems to be highly correlated with recurring sinus infection, otitis media (ear infections), asthma, and possibly facial growth abnormalities.
